Yarrow Realty Hires Office Manager and Broker

March 27, 2007

Madras, Oregon - Yarrow Realty today announced that Kathy Duman has been hired as the new office manager and broker for the company's Madras office. Yarrow Realty will be representing Yarrow, a new master-planned community being developed in the rolling hills east of Madras. In her new position, Duman will run the new office, sell property in Yarrow and oversee the reservation and escrow process.

"Having worked with Kathy in the past, I know that she is very committed to customer service," said Pat Mahody, principal broker for Yarrow Realty. "Her attention to detail and experience selling property in this area made her a perfect fit for our newly formed team."

For the last 11 years, Duman has worked in a similar capacity as office manager and broker in Eagle Crest's sales department. Previously, she held management level positions in both the hospitality and manufacturing industries.

A property owner in Jefferson County for the last 25 years, Duman is a long-term Oregon resident who loves the openness, the smell of sage and juniper, the sunshine and enjoying the outdoors. She is excited to be able to come in on the ground floor and promote a new project like Yarrow.

Duman will be working from Yarrow's temporary office space in downtown Madras, located at 18 SE D Street. The company's new on-site sales center is slated to open in summer.

The new community of Yarrow, situated on 900 acres on the east side of Madras, will be a vibrant collection of neighborhoods incorporating neotraditional design principles. Madras Land Development Company, a joint venture of Brooks Resources Corporation, Eagle Crest and Taylor Northwest, is developing the property. Plans for the community include a variety of housing sizes and types, mixed-use area with retail amenities, pedestrian friendly streets and walkways, and a public golf course. At completion, the project will have approximately 1500-1700 single-family homes, and 100-200 multi-family units. To find out more, call 541-475-7966 or visit the Yarrow real estate website.
