Bend, Oregon - The Restaurant at Awbrey Glen announces the hiring of Korey Kato as the new restaurant manager. Kato joins the restaurant from the Tualatin Country Club where he held the same position.
Mark Amberson, general manager for Awbrey Glen Golf Club said, “We are very excited to have Korey joining our team and look forward to him sharing his skills to enhance the dining experience at The Restaurant. His direct experience in the golf industry will be a great compliment to Awbrey Glen.”
Kato's focus in his new position will be on enhancing service through utilizing and developing the talented team at The Restaurant to generate a great local cliental. He and his team will focus on complete member satisfaction through friendly personalized and consistent service. Kato also plans to bring more events to the club that will promote the restaurant's chefs and their abilities to create exciting dishes from around the culinary world.
A newcomer to the Bend area, Kato is looking forward to enjoying the outdoors through activities such as skiing, camping, fishing, hiking, tennis and, of course, golf.
The Restaurant at Awbrey Glen is open to the public. Summer hours are:
Lunch: Tuesday-Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Breakfast: Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Dinner: Wednesday-Sunday 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
